Information Provided by Customer
In order to be able to put content online on this website as a customer, at least one valid e-mail address, name, address and telephone number is required. This data appears in the respective part of the website created by the customer (imprint).
Customers have the option of terminating the contract. The personal data of the customer will be deleted by us after the request for deletion (e.g. by contacting support). (Exception: if statutory retention requirements apply).

Information about a customers use of this website
The web server automatically collects some data from customers who are registered in your administration in order to optimize operation and to be able to provide information on customer inquiries. These are e.g. B. Login time of last logins, information on activity (such as time of registration, time when content went online).

  • PHPSESSID: Identification through session cookies
    If a customer logs into his administration, a cookie is automatically set to recognize the browser (a so-called session cookie). This means that the password only has to be entered once during the session when logging in. Most browsers accept cookies, however it is possible to set the browser to refuse all cookies. In this case, the platform will not function properly. Cookies can be deleted at any time. In the event of a deletion, the access data must be re-entered on the next visit.

This website uses various services from Google Inc. from the USA. This includes Google Analytics and Google Maps.

YouTube Plugin (Video)
YouTube videos are not loaded automatically. The visitor is informed beforehand that when the video is loaded, information about the use of this website, such as the IP address, is sent to Google servers in the USA ü be transferred.
On this website we use plugins from the video platform YouTube.de or YouTube.com, a service that - represented by Google Inc. - operated by YouTube LLC (head office at 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA; “YouTube”). Using the plugin, we can also integrate visual content that we have published on Youtube.de or Youtube.com on this website.
YouTube uses cookies, among other things, for statistical data analysis, to create interest-based advertising, to prevent fraud and to improve user-friendliness. (Item IX).
If you call up a page on our website on which a YouTube video is embedded, a connection to the YouTube servers is established and the plugin is displayed on the page by notifying your browser. On this website we use plugins from the video platform Vimeo.com, a service operated by Vimeo LCC (555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA; "Vimeo"). With regard to how cookies work and how to deal with them, reference is made to the information in Section XV.

Recording of access data / server log files

The provider of this website (IT Services & strategisches Informationsmanagement of the Medical University Vienna) collects data about every access to the offer (so-called server log files). Access data includes:
Name of the retrieved website, file, date and time of retrieval, amount of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, browser type and version, the users operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address and the requesting provider .
The provider only uses the log data for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security and optimization of the offer. However, the provider reserves the right to subsequently check the log data if there are concrete indications that there is a justified suspicion of illegal use.

VRCTS - Ticket System
The Ticket System is the study platform with its own login area, which is linked from this website. The requirement for VRCTS is a complete audit trail. Every change to the data, as well as the time of login, is logged.

Due to legal regulations, this website contains information that enables quick electronic contact to our company and direct communication with us, which also includes a general address for so-called electronic mail (e-mail address). Encryption

We use the GEANT OV RSA CA 4 service for the https encryption of this website and for the administration of customers. . By integrating the encryption certificates, we can enable what is known as transport encryption. This protects the communication from unauthorized access by third parties.

Your rights

We would be happy to let you know which personal data we have stored about you. The information will be processed by us within 2 weeks and is usually sent by e-mail (on request also by post). In order to receive detailed information, if possible, please state what type of personal data you want information about. In order to be able to ensure that the requesting person is who they say they are, we require proof of identity. This can be a copy of an official identification document.
